Founded in January 2020, by Tomisha Price-Brock, Prodigious Concepts, LLC began limited operation in Goldsboro, North Carolina, as a sole proprietorship. Early services provided included tutoring for current music educators and music majors seeking assistance with preparation for the Praxis Music Examination, and Professional Development seminars and workshops. Services were provided through face-to-face meetings and online via videoconferencing. Face-to-face meetings were conducted at either the client’s residence, or at the Wayne County Public Library. Professional Development seminars and workshops were provided face-to-face at various institutions, and online via videoconferencing.

In June 2020, the company moved from Goldsboro, North Carolina to Las Vegas, Nevada, and began offering online tutoring services for clients who could not meet face-to-face because of distance, and ultimately because of COVID-19. In July 2020, Prodigious Concepts, LLC changed its name to Prodigious Music Concepts, LLC, and added two additional components: Instrumental Music Instruction and Educational Consulting/Professional Development.
